Reversi

Flank, flip and conquer the board in the classic game of Reversi! Place discs to trap your opponent's discs between yours and turn them over, grab the corners and finish with the most discs. Play the computer at three levels or share one device with a friend, see every legal move highlighted and undo a slip. Easy to learn, a joy to master!

How to play Reversi

Tap or click a square marked with a dot to place a disc there. On a keyboard use the arrow keys to move the cursor, Enter or Space to place a disc, U to undo, R for a new game, H to show or hide the hints and M to mute. You play dark and move first. A move must trap a straight line of one or more opposing discs between the new disc and another of your discs, in any of the eight directions; every trapped disc turns to your colour. If you have no legal move your turn is skipped, and when neither side can move the game ends. Whoever has more discs wins. Corners can never be flipped, so they are worth fighting for. Choose the opponent (the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, or 2 players on one device) and press Play. Wins against the computer score more for a bigger margin and fewer undos. Good luck! ⚫⚪
