Harbor Salvo

Hide your fleet and hunt the computer's ships across the harbor! Harbor Salvo is a classic naval duel on a 10x10 grid: place five ships by hand or at random, then take turns firing at hidden enemy waters. Hits, misses and sunk ships are marked at once, every shot is kept in a history, and a final card shows your accuracy. Pick Easy, Medium or Hard and out-think the computer!
How to play Harbor Salvo
First place your fleet: pick a ship, tap a cell to put it there and press Rotate (R) to turn it, or press Random (P) for a ready fleet. Tap a placed ship to pick it up again. Ships may not touch each other, not even at a corner. Press Start battle when all five ships are placed. In battle, tap a cell in the enemy waters to fire; on a phone use the two tabs to switch between enemy waters and your fleet. On a keyboard the arrows move, Enter or Space places or fires, 1 to 5 pick a ship, T switches the grid, N starts a new game and M mutes the sound. You and the computer fire one shot each in turn. A ring marks a miss, a cross marks a hit, and a ship is sunk when all its cells are hit. The fleet is a carrier (5 cells), cruiser (4), frigate (3), submarine (3) and patrol boat (2). The first side to sink the whole enemy fleet wins, and a card shows how accurate you were. A hit does not give an extra turn. Easy fires at random, Medium hunts and then finishes every ship it hits, and Hard calculates where the remaining ships can still fit. A win scores more on harder levels and with fewer shots. Tip: since ships never touch, every sunk ship rules out the cells around it! ⚓
