Four in a Row

Drop your discs into the grid and be the first to line up four in a row! Four in a Row is a quick strategy duel for the whole family: play against the computer on three levels or hand the device to a friend, watch every disc fall into place, take back a slip with Undo and enjoy the glowing line when you win. Simple to learn, surprisingly deep to master!

How to play Four in a Row

Tap or click a column to drop a disc, or press on the board, slide over a column and let go. On a keyboard use the left and right arrows to pick a column and Enter, Space or the down arrow to drop (the keys 1 to 7 drop straight into a column). U takes back your last move, R starts a new game and M mutes the sound. Take turns with your opponent: every disc falls to the lowest free spot of its column. The first player to line up four discs in a row, across, up and down or diagonally, wins, and the winning line lights up. If the grid fills up with no four in a row, the game is a draw. Choose to play against the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, or share one device with a friend in the two-player mode. A win against the computer earns a score that is higher on harder levels, for quick wins and when you use no Undo. Watch for double threats: two ways to win at once cannot both be blocked! 🟠
