Backgammon

Race your 15 checkers around the board in the world's classic dice game! Roll, hit lone checkers to send them to the bar, build blocking points and bear off first. Play against the computer on three levels or share one device with a friend, see every legal move highlighted, ask for a hint and take back a step. Gammons and backgammons score extra. Easy to learn, a lifetime to master!
How to play Backgammon
Press Roll dice (or Space), then tap a checker to see where it can go and tap a marked point—or drag the checker there. The number on each marker is the die it uses. On a keyboard use the arrow keys and Enter, D to finish your turn, H for a hint, U to undo a step, R for a new game and M to mute. You move your 15 checkers from the top-right corner around the board to your home board at the bottom right, using each die for one checker. Doubles are played four times. A point with two or more of your checkers is blocked for your opponent; a lone checker can be hit and goes to the bar, where it must enter again before anything else moves. You must use both dice if you can, or the larger one if only one can be played. Once all your checkers are home you may bear them off. Choose the computer (Easy, Medium or Hard) or 2 players on one device and press Play. The first to bear off all 15 checkers wins: 1 point, 2 for a gammon (the loser has borne off nothing) and 3 for a backgammon (the loser also has a checker on the bar or in your home board). There is no doubling cube. Good luck! 🎲
